Be what you want to be within BVFD:
social members give of their time, talents and efforts without actually “running calls”
Firefighters are trained well in their field to fight fires, assist at accidents and incidents as needed.
Drive the equipment after training.
EMS personnel are EMT’s and Paramedics who are certified in their field of expertise.
Some only run ambulance calls, and some are also Firefighters.
Junior Members are between the ages of 16 and 18 and are able to assist on calls while taking classes
to be prepared to be a full fledged member when they turn 18.
